Lundberg Counseling
Jules Lundberg, LPC, and owner of Lundberg Counseling, is dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to embark on the challenging journey of transcending the past and creating a legacy of hope. This journey involves bringing every part of yourself into the present moment and allowing yourself to begin to imagine a future that energizes you.
With a deep understanding of the intersection of the body, mind, and soul, I specialize in Christian-integrated mental health counseling and consulting. I collaborate with individuals who seek to effect personal and professional change, regardless of the circumstances they encounter. If that is you, don't hesitate to reach out.
I have two undergraduate degrees, one in Respiratory Therapy and one in Communications, and I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Psychology and Counseling with a focus on Traumatology at Regent University.
My extensive background includes a decade as a Respiratory Therapist in a level 1 trauma hospital, a decade advocating for my children and other families in the foster care system, and a decade of studying the intersection of interpersonal communication and adult psychological and developmental healing.
I am known for sharing my personal story as a childhood trauma survivor and my personal and professional journey of healing, thriving, and helping others believe in themselves again, especially after trauma. I often speak about rewriting the narrative of your life, breaking maladaptive generational patterns, and learning how to show compassion to yourself again. If you have been through significant childhood trauma and want to transform your life, I would love to hear from you.
My areas of expertise include collaborating with those who seek psychological, developmental, and generational healing through facilitating inner child awareness, compassion, and interpersonal communication techniques, safeguarding against any abuse, addressing multifaceted relational challenges, integrating the complexities of traumatic grief, and navigating life's many transitions.
I am currently studying how adults with childhood developmental trauma (CDT) heal. I believe that it is essential to place a strong emphasis on understanding your internal world because your internal world creates your external responses, and your external responses have an impact on EVERYBODY.
The more functional you are, the more functional the people in your life will be. You can Transform Your Trauma and create a Legacy of Hope!
